So closed yet too far...We'll be back next year.....
And for UNITED we were just not good enough as we were..and well be back next season. Well done UNITED.
Here is the match highlight.
Selangor took over as a TM Liga Super leader from Perlis last Saturday after beating Kedah 3-1 at Shah Alam. Kedah took a lead trough Fauzi Shaari on the first half of the match, but 3 goals in the second half from the giant kill off the canaries. First it was a 30 yards strike from the captain Amri Yahya to leveled the game before a double header each from Rudie Ramli and national U-23 winger Amirul Hadi Zainal took the Reds Giant at the summit of TM Liga Super after Perlis was beaten by Terengganu 2-0. Selangor now has 40 points from 17 matches while Perlis 38 points from 17 matches.
Here the match highlight:
A goal from Rudie Ramlie just before an hour marks of the games was enough to see off the panther last saturday at Shah Alam. The red giant still keep a pressure on the league leader Perlis who beat Kelantan 2-0 with just 1 point.
C'mon Selangor...
heeheheheh nothing much to say.. just We Are The Champ11ons once again.. this time we won it at Old Trafford.. yes.. 11th Premier league champions.. 18th top flight division champions which is equal The Kop's record.. well done.. on the fine lunch time kick off at Old Trafford UNITED must get at least 1 point from Arsenal. Not much piece of football in this more important match than the londoners for UNITED. Hate to say but it was the Gunners center half pair who got the match into thier own way as they keep UNITED attacking forces at bay for the much of the games. With Tevez failed to scored the only half chance he got..Wayne Rooney saw his headed wide..and Ronaldo blast his freekick off target..the only clear chance to score a goal was from Cesc Fabregas in the dying minute only to hit the post after was diverted by heroic touch from Van Der Sar.

Selangor vs Pahang goals
Well its a mixed feeling in UNITED camp last night and i'm sure all UNITED fans around the world will feel the same. Yes we were in jubilant mood bcos we secured back to back final champo league. But for one of our heroes last night will be really disapoited and he is our number 24 midfield anchor Darren Fletcher. UEFA disciplinary committees today has just confirm that UNITED cant revert the red card decision against Fletcher. This mean he will be a spectators of final in Rome.He hold the midfield area with Ando and Carrick so tightly that Mr. Wenger boys couldn't break our defense and the same time he still can make late run into the box to joint the attacking force. What a shame to lose 1 of brilliant performer of the night with a harsh decision from Roberto Rosetti. Replays show the ball went a different way when the tacked was made. Thats mean he got the ball first before Cesc going down. But anyway the reff who has a last words and even Fergie cant turn around the decision. Here some of his team mate had to say about him...
"He's (Fletcher) disappointed and he should be disappointed. He's one of the most honest players in the game and to miss the final, it's a tragedy. He was distraught. (Fergie)
"It is a massive game to miss out on. I think over the last two seasons he has been brilliant for us and if anyone deserves to be there and play it is him."
(Rooney)
"I am so sorry for Darren Fletcher," said Evra. "The real big bad news about all this is Darren not being able to play in Rome.".."I am very, very frustrated and disappointed for him and his family. I played with a lot of pain in my stomach worrying about missing the final."
(Evra)
"I thought it was harsh to be honest,"..."In that situation he seems to have got the ball. I was behind him and the ball changed direction."In this situation, the semi-final of the Champions League, the possibility of missing a final it's not fair really."
(Carrick)
"I am tremendously disappointed for Darren,"
"He has played in most of the games and now he cannot play in the final. He deserves to - but that is football."
(Ronaldo)
A goal from Rudie Ramli and two well taking goal in each half from Malaysian international Safee Sali to ensure The Reds Giant closing the gap with the TM Liga Super leader Perlis to just 1 point.
UNITED now 6 point clear ahead of second place the Fools heheh.. Ryan Giggs capped wonderfully crisp strike on his 801 matches for The Reds with a low driven from the edge of the box into the left post of Boro goal on 24 minutes. The Welshmen later was named Man of The Match by SKY Sports following his composed perfomance. Here is the goal...
Giggsy vs Boro: United 1 Boro 0 (24')
well..yesterday was the opening day of KARISMA 09. A two days of sports carnival for Malaysian Students Societies here in Jordan. Almost 75% Malaysian around Jordan are participating on various sports discipline such as football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball. The athletes are divided from 4 different counties which is Mu,tah (this year host), Irbid (previous year host), Mafraq, and Amman. So..as i was selected to be part of Mu'tah football and we were drawn into group B of two groups league competition which winner and runner-up each group will qualify for the semis.
So we start the game on 0845 against 1 of the tournament favorite Mafraq. And they proved too stronger as they trashed my Mu'tah young team 5-1. It was an early gifted 2 goals that ripped away our teams spirit. The match also seen the penalty that never was took by Mamin (Mu'tah but imported by Mafraq) saved by our keeper Wan.
Second match we played against the "AMMAN" selected by Sarawak team. They held another giant of the tournament, Irbid 0-0 on their first game. We won this match 2-0 as my younger and spirited Mu'tah B team fought hardly to deserved the win. Two first half strikes from Ap to shot down the flying "Enggang" down to earth. This match also was the end of my contribution to Mu'tah B team as i was badly injured my left knee...arrrgghhh it really hurt.
The 3rd match was against the group leader Irbid. Credit to our goal keeper in this match Wan who played brilliantly throughout the match. The match ended with 1-1 draw.
So we have to wait the result of Mafraq vs Amman to know if we can qualify for the semis. But the Amman team have make the shocked result by came from a goal down to won the match 4-1. So its ended for my young an inexperience team journey with an early exit from the tournament. But 1 thing for sure this young and talented team will be back next year to be a winner insyaallah. There's still a plenty of time for the likes of Fik, Lah (the best perfomer), Jemey, Ap, Mamat, Arip and co to be shine next season. Well good luck fellas. The group table end like this:
Team |P|W|L|D|G|A|-/+|P
Irbid 3 1 0 2 3 1 +2 5
Amm 3 1 1 1 4 3 +1 4
Mutah 3 1 1 1 4 6 -2 4
Mafraq 3 1 2 0 6 7 -1 3
